On Friday October 2nd, Specialty Tires of America lost its long-time Racing Manager, Scott McAdoo after a year-long fight with cancer. Scott worked for Specialty Tires for 29 years in various capacities and spent the last 17 years as a manger in the American Racer brand organization. Scott was responsible for supply chain management and product evaluation and worked with countless tracks, series and racers in his career. He served as liaison with the American Racer distributors world-wide.
Scott was a loving husband to his wife Stephanie, and father to his best friend and son, Caleb. He lived and loved every day of his life and served as a model to all of us that knew him. His roots are here in Indiana County PA and he has scores of friends and family that know him as a wonderful man. His passing is a huge loss for all the lives he touched and the friends he made. We all begin a very difficult new era without the steady hand of Scott. Please keep his family in your prayers. We all will miss him terribly. Rest in peace Scott.
