Coopersville, MI, March 12, 2021 – Keyser Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of high performance and motorsports products, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Michigan American Racer Warehouse of Adrian, MI, a major supplier of American Racer race tires.
After 52 years as the American Racer race tire distributor in the state of Michigan, Wayne Bishop has elected to retire.
“I am really going to miss doing this work because I made so many friends over the years. But I just think it was time for me to slow down a little. I love racing and all the friends I made because of it,” Bishop stated.
American Racer Great Lakes (ARGL) will replace Bishop as the new distributor for the states of Michigan and Indiana. ARGL is a division of Keyser Manufacturing’s Port City Racing company, which has been in the racing industry for many years. ARGL and will bring real strength and opportunities to the American Racer brand.
Keyser Manufacturing President, Scott Keyser stated, “We are looking forward to continuing the work that Wayne has dedicated so many years to. We are well-positioned to maintain those relationships and build the American Racer brand for our territory.”
“It is bittersweet to see a man like Wayne step aside, but he has earned every minute of retirement. There are none better in this business. We are excited about the future,” Junod said.
